1. Who we are

Peptide Designer (the "Service") is operated by Champike Munasinghe ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you are entering into an agreement with Champike Munasinghe.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. The Service

The Service provides a hosted AI pipeline for designing cyclic peptide binders, including structure prediction, sequence design and ranking. Outputs are computational predictions, not laboratory results, and are provided for research use only.

4. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular you must not:

• use it for any unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purpose;
• send spam, malware, or infringing content;
• infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person;
• probe, scan, scrape or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service;
• reverse engineer, resell, redistribute, or attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls;
• use outputs to design agents intended to cause harm to humans, animals or the environment, or in any application prohibited by applicable biosecurity laws.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of structures, sequences, hotspot selections and other inputs you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. You are responsible for having the rights necessary to submit Your Content.

7. AI-generated outputs

The Service uses generative models. You are responsible for how you use any output, including verifying its accuracy and suitability before relying on it. Outputs may be inaccurate or unsuitable and are not a substitute for laboratory validation or professional scientific, medical, legal or regulatory advice. We may filter, refuse or remove outputs and inputs that violate these Terms.

If you believe an output infringes your rights, contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action, including suspending accounts responsible for repeated infringement.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, models, user interface, brand and documentation, is owned by Champike Munasinghe and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under your active plan. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

9. Payments, subscriptions and taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Prices are shown pre-tax; applicable VAT or sales tax is added at checkout.

10. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and performing well but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result will be produced. GPU capacity and third-party model availability may vary.

11. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content, your use of outputs, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if there is a reasonable security, legal or fraud risk. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription. On termination we will make your data available for a reasonable period before deletion.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Champike Munasinghe is resident, and disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts there, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have in your place of residence.
